WHAT IS REPRESENTATIVE BADMINTON
Compete for Badminton Wellington
Representative players compete under the Badminton Wellington banner at regional and national tournaments. It's a serious step up in commitment, coaching and competition — and the most direct pathway to national-level play.
Selection is by trial only. Squads are named across four age groups — U13, U15, U17 and U19 — with separate boys and girls squads in each group.

If your child is showing strong development through Shuttle Time, Interschool or club play, representative badminton could be the right next step.
AGE GROUPS SQUADS
Four squads. One pathway.
