The Annual Compton Cup 2026 was held in Wellington North on 6 March 2026. The format used was 1 game to 21 points, with no setting, meaning that if the score reached 20-all, play continued until a pair achieved a 2-point advantage. Badminton Wellington (BW) was involved in one of the longest matches of the night against BHV, with a final score of 26–24.

This event is designed to bring together Seniors, Masters, Veterans, and Board/Staff members—encouraging connection within the association as well as fostering relationships with players from other associations. It was great to see a mix of familiar and new faces, and the night delivered plenty of intense and competitive matches, finishing off with pizzas and beverages provided by WNBA.

Final placings were determined by the total number of games won across the night. BW placed 2nd overall, finishing just 1 point ahead of BHV and behind WNBA.
