​Badminton Wellington (BW) invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from players wishing to be considered for selection into our 2026 representative teams. BW aims to field teams across multiple divisions to provide competitive opportunities for players of varying experience levels and age groups.

The final number of teams entered will be determined by the quality and quantity of applicants. Where selectors assess that there are insufficient numbers or playing standards, BW reserves the right to reduce the number of teams entered. Conversely, additional teams may be considered should there be sufficient interest and playing depth.

Available Teams for 2026

• Senior Division – 1 team competing in the Central Region Division

• Masters Division 3 – 35+ years

• Veterans Division 1 – 50+ years

• Veterans Division 3 – 50+ years

• Super Veterans Division (60+) – subject to sufficient interest (new team)
