What began as a casual Tuesday hit turned into a high-energy, pre-Christmas tournament that did exactly what it was meant to do — connect players who wouldn’t normally share the same court at our badminton centre.

Different groups, different circles, different playing styles all came together for a fast-paced, loud, and social-competitive morning. New partnerships were formed, unfamiliar match-ups happened, and by the end of the session it was clear how valuable these connection-style events are for our community.

If you missed out — or want more of this — we’ll be running another Connection-style event in January. Same idea: new pairings, new opponents, and a chance to play outside your usual group.
