The Novice Doubles Tournament is your chance to test your skills in a fun and supportive environment.

This event is specifically designed for newer players, offering you the opportunity to enjoy competitive matches, learn as you go, and share the excitement with a partner by your side.

Cost:

$7.50 per person (if entering as 'partner required')
$15 per pairing (when entering as a pair)

• Shuttles are provided.​

 

Tournament Format:
A maximum of 12 pairings will be accepted for this event.

1. Round Robin Stage
   Each pairing will be placed in a box with two other pairings. Every pairing will play against the others in their box to determine placings.

2. Knockout Stage

   • 1st placings in each box → Compete for 1st–4th final placings in an elimination box.

     • Winners of the semifinals progress to the Finals (1st & 2nd place).

     • Losers of the semifinals play for 3rd & 4th place.

   • 2nd placings in each box → Compete for 5th–8th final placings in an elimination box.

     • Winners of the semifinals progress to the Finals (5th & 6th place).

     • Losers of the semifinals play for 7th & 8th place.

   • 3rd placings in each box → Compete for 9th–12th final placings in an elimination box.

     • Winners of the semifinals progress to the Finals (9th & 10th place).

     • Losers of the semifinals play for 11th & 12th place.
